Are you thinking about buying the SeaWorld San Diego All-Day Dining Plan and wondering if it’s worth the cost? I’ve got the full breakdown right here!
Visiting SeaWorld San Diego is an exciting and busy day, filled with rides, shows, and lots of walking. You can easily spend eight to ten hours inside the park. That means multiple meals, snack breaks, and drinks throughout the day.
SeaWorld’s All-Day Dining Deal is one of the park’s most popular add-ons because it takes the guesswork out of where to eat and can help families save money. And I promise…you will never be hungry!
We are SeaWorld San Diego Annual Pass Members, and over the years I have learned when it makes sense to purchase the All-Day Dining Deal and when it doesn’t. If you’re trying to decide if All-Day Dining is right for you, this guide walks you through exactly what it includes, how it works, where to use it, and insider tips to help you get the most value.
What Is the SeaWorld San Diego All-Day Dining Deal?
In simplest terms, SeaWorld’s All-Day Dining Deal allows you to order one entrée, one side item or dessert, and one non-alcoholic beverage every 90 minutes at participating restaurants.
Once activated, it’s valid for the entire operating day.
How It Works
Purchase the All-Day Dining Deal online, through the SeaWorld app, or inside the park.
Redeem your voucher for an All-Day Dining wristband. (This step is actually optional; you can also show the receipt or the barcode on your app to the cashier.)
Visit any participating restaurant and choose one entrée, side or dessert, and a drink.
Wait 90 minutes (or longer) and you can order for another meal at any participating restaurant.

Participating Restaurants
Here are the restaurants where you can use the All-Day Dining Deal. Note, these can change at anytime, so be sure to check the SeaWorld San Diego website or app.
Explorer’s Café – A large dining space offering pizza, chicken tenders, fresh salads, and desserts. Great for families with picky eaters.
Shipwreck Reef Café – Known for burgers, BBQ chicken, sandwiches, and hearty platters. Mostly outdoor seating with lots of shade.
Calypso Bay Smokehouse – Smoked brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and classic comfort-food sides. If you are a meat eater, this place delivers the best value for the dining plan.
Manta Pizza – Pizza, salads, and desserts located near the Manta roller coaster.
The Chicken Snack Shack – Fried chicken, chicken nuggets, salad, and sandwiches.
Hibisco Modern Mexican – Traditional Mexican cuisine like tacos, burritos, and guacamole. We got the 3 Mini Street Tacos plate and a churro for dessert and it was perfect for sharing.

SeaWorld San Diego All-Day Dining Deal Price
How much is All-Day Dining?
The All-Day Dining Deal at SeaWorld San Diego is currently $59.99 for adults and $29.99 for kids.
That may sound like a lot, but if you were to purchase food and drinks separately, the pass easily pays for itself after two meals.
Also, keep an eye out for special discounts! We took advantage of a Black Friday deal when the dining deal was on sale for just $29.99 for both adults and kids ages 3 to 9!

Is All-Day Dining Worth the Price?
If you plan on eating more than one meal a day while you’re at SeaWorld San Diego (and ordering an entrée, drink, and dessert), it pays for itself.
A typical entrée, drink, and dessert at SeaWorld totals $25 to $35 per person. You will break even after two meals, and then every meal or drink after that is essentially “free.” Drinks alone cost more than $7 these days. Crazy, right? So even if you are not hungry enough to get a meal after 90 minutes, you can use it to get a drink.

This flexibility of having the Dining Deal is especially helpful if you have hungry teens, don’t want to think about money while you’re there, or for anyone who prefers sharing small meals throughout the day. (Okay – in truth you are not supposed to share. The website very clearly states that sharing is not allowed. But we have never been questioned.)
One important thing to keep in mind is that event booths are not included, so if you’re going to be at SeaWorld during the Seven Seas Food Festival or SeaWorld San Diego Christmas Celebration, the Dining Deal may not be worth it if you want to purchase festival food.

Tips & Tricks
Here are some tips and tricks to help get the most out of your All-Day Dining Pass.
Start the 90-minute clock early – Grab a bite or even a drink as soon as you enter the park. This gives you the longest possible dining window.
Note the hours for dining locations you want to try – Some restaurants don’t open until 11 a.m., and some close early. Arm yourself with knowledge so you don’t waste time walking to a place that is closed. (Raising my hand on this one!)
Eat during off-peak hours – Lines are shorter before 11:30 a.m. and after 2 p.m.
Use the plan for drinks alone – Even when you’re not hungry, grabbing a soda or bottle of water adds value to the pass.
Choose foods with the best value – BBQ platters will give you the best bang for your buck.
Plan meals around show times – Grab food before popular shows, grab good seats in the theater, and eat while you’re waiting.
Map out your day – Plan the order of restaurants you’ll want to try visit based on their proximity to rides, attractions, and showtimes.
