Looking for the best salads at Disneyland for a delicious, healthy meal?
You’ve come to the right place! I have a complete and totally updated guide to Disneyland salads right here.
Gone are the days when theme park dining meant a basic hamburger and fries. The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California offers tons of healthy options, including some of the best salads you’ll find just about anywhere.
As a Disneyland expert and frequent visitor, salads my go-to meal when we visit the parks. They just make me feel more energetic instead of stuffed and heavy.
That said, I have noticed when updating this guide that there are a few less salad options than there used to be. Restaurants that offered several may now only have one on the menu. Still, almost every restaurant – both quick service and table service – has at least one great salad.
To help you plan where to eat on your Disney vacation, I am breaking down 15 top spots to find the best salads at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Menus change regularly, but this list is up-to-date as of early 2026.

The Best Salads at Disneyland Park
Proof that healthy eating does not have to be boring, here are the best spots to grab a tasty salad inside Disneyland Park.
1. Jolly Holiday Bakery Café – Main Street USA

Known for their grilled cheese and tomato soup combo (perfect on a chilly day, FYI!), Jolly Holiday also offers the Jolly Chopped Salad – mixed greens, chopped deli meats, Italian relish, garbanzos, olives, and a creamy Italian vinaigrette dressing. It comes with a breadstick, which makes it a very filling and tasty meal!

Jolly Holiday Bakery also offers the plant-based Garden Grain Salad. This one features arugula, roasted red pepper, cucumber, couscous, farro, garbanzo beans, tomatoes, croutons, and red wine vinaigrette. It is also served with a breadstick.
2. Plaza Inn – Main Street U.S.A

Plaza Inn is considered a quick service restaurant, but I see it as borderline table service. This is because food is hearty and served on real plates, drinks in real glasses, and the seating area is prime.
The only thing that makes it quick service is because you order it at the counter and pay for your tray before sitting down to eat. But otherwise – the quality is right up there with some of the best table service restaurants at Disneyland!

The Cobb Salad at Plaza Inn comes with seared chicken, romaine lettuce, bacon, hard-boiled eggs, tomatoes, croutons, and blue cheese dressing. The salad is tossed fresh to order right in front of you, so it is easy to customize if needed.
► Travel Insight
If you’re planning on watching the parade at Disneyland, order dinner at the Plaza Inn and grab a table outside 20-30 minutes before the parade comes down Main Street. You’ll have a comfy seat, great view, and a beverage to sip while you watch!
3. Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree – Bayou Country

One of the newest restaurants at Disneyland, Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree replaced the Hungry Bear Restaurant at Disneyland. Themed around the classic Country Bear Jamboree attraction, this quick service restaurant offers a huge spread of BBQ favorites like pork, brisket, and ribs.
Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree’s Barbecue Salad quickly became one of my favorite salads at Disneyland. It is made with chopped beef brisket, romaine and kale mixed greens, cucumber, carrots, corn rib, and a chile-lime vinaigrette. I found the meat a little fatty but overall it was good and the corn is a fun and unique touch.
4. Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante – Frontierland

In the mood for authentic Mexican food? Head over to Rancho del Zocalo.
In addition to a big selection of burritos and traditional Mexican plates, they serve the Hacienda Salad, a mix of kale and romaine lettuces, cilantro avocado ranch, grilled mushrooms, salsa, and grilled chile-lime corn riblets.

One of the nice things about this restaurant is they have self-serve beverage stations, as well as fresh, cold water available for free if you want to refill your water bottles at Disneyland.
5. Alien Pizza Planet – Tomorrowland

Don’t let its name fool you; Alien Pizza Planet has one of the best salads at Disneyland!
Inspired by the lovable little aliens from Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story films, many menu items at this restaurant have fun, intergalactic names like the classic Count Down Chicken Fusilli pasta dish – which is yummy if you’re feeling indulgent!

But if you are looking for tasty Disneyland salad, Alien Pizza Planet has the Centurion Chicken Caesar Salad. This salad features grilled chicken breast atop romaine lettuce tossed in Caesar dressing, with croutons and parmesan cheese.
6. Galactic Grill – Tomorrowland

Galactic Grill has literally been around forever; I remember going there as a kid. And while they still serve the old standard chicken fingers and burgers, there are now many more healthy options.
One of those healthy options is the Grilled Chicken Chopped Salad. This tasty dish features mixed lettuce with grilled chicken, cucumber, tomato, onion, red pepper, and feta cheese served with roasted pepper ranch dressing. You can also get a plain plant-based Chopped Salad without the chicken.
7. Café Orleans – New Orleans Square

Café Orleans is a table service restaurant with outdoor seating and a French Quarter flair. They have an entrée salad called the Provençal Bean & Herb Pesto Salad, featuring field beans, olives, heirloom tomatoes, and pickled shallots with pesto dressing. It is light and fresh, perfect on a hot day!
You can also order a side Caesar Salad if you’re looking for something small to eat.
8. Red Rose Taverne

Located in Fantasyland, Red Rose Taverne has the Cottage Salad, an entree featuring romaine hearts, hard-boiled eggs, bacon, marinated tomatoes, chicken, and cucumbers. It is served with green goddess ranch dressing.
9. Blue Bayou Restaurant – New Orleans Square
Of all the restaurants at the Disneyland Resort, Blue Bayou is perhaps the most coveted. How wonderful it is to sit under the twinkling stars (even at lunchtime!) and watch the boats drift by for Pirates of the Caribbean while dining on delicious Creole dishes.
This table service restaurant currently offers one nice salad on their plant-based menu. The Crescent City Salad features organic greens, fresh vegetables, sunflower seeds, and dressing.
If you order the featured 70th Celebration Prix-Fixe, the menu includes a Vegetable Hearts Salad with baby greens, artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, and lemon-herb ranch dressing as the starter.
The Best Salads at Disney California Adventure Park
There are many great restaurants at Disney California Adventure where you can find healthy food and salads. Here are a few of our faves.
10. Smokejumpers Grill – Grizzly Peak

Located in Grizzly Peak next to Soarin’, Smokejumpers Grill is a quick service restaurant with a fun, airplane theme. Inspired by the heroic men and women who fight wildfires in California, Smokejumpers Grill serves up American classics like burgers, chicken, and fries. They do have one great salad, though.
Smokejumpers Grill has the Strawberry Summer Salad, with grilled chicken, baby arugula, spinach, strawberry-tahini vinaigrette, caramelized onions, feta cheese, and candied walnuts. This is definitely one of the more interesting and flavorful salads at Disneyland!
11. Flo’s V8 Café – Cars Land

Reminiscent of the classic roadside diners that dotted the original Route 66, Flo’s V8 Cafe is a quick-service dining location open for lunch and dinner. It is one of my family’s favorite places to eat, not just in Cars Land at DCA but at the entire Disneyland Resort!
Flo’s kitschy atmosphere and patio tables overlooking scenic Monument Valley and Radiator Springs Racers make this a memorable location to grab a meal.
Though Flo’s V8 Cafe specializes in classic comfort food (aka Flo’s Famous Fried Chicken and Ramone’s Low and Slow Club), they have a new salad called the Fillmore Groovy Greens with Chicken Fenders. This salad features crispy chicken strips (the “fenders,” aka tenders), romaine, kale, bean and corn salad, cucumbers, tomatoes, quinoa, toasted sunflower seeds, and zesty dressing.

You can also get the Fillmore Groovy Greens without chicken for a few bucks less. I tried this Disneyland salad and it was very filling, even without the additional protein!
12. Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta – Paradise Gardens Park

We almost never miss stopping in at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta near Pixar Pier when we’re spending a day at Disney California Adventure. That’s because they have a great selection of salads, pizza, and pasta. Sometimes my son and I will pick one of each and share!
Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta has two great salads. My favorite used to be the Boardwalk Field Greens, but sadly they took it off the menu. Salads offered are now a Side Caesar Salad (which is a great deal at under six bucks for a nicely sized fresh-tossed salad), and the Wedge Salad.
The Wedge Salad features a wedge of lettuce, bacon, tomato, blue cheese dressing, pickled onion, and crispy onions on top.
13. Pym Test Kitchen – Avenger’s Campus

Step inside DCA’s newest land and have a healthy meal of “size-defying fare” at Pym Test Kitchen.
Pym Test Kitchen offers one salad called the Humongous Taco Salad. It has a taco shell loaded with romaine lettuce, chicken, corn, bell pepper, cotija cheese, avocado, and tossed in chipotle ranch dressing.

We ordered this salad to share and it was very flavorful, but not nearly enough lettuce to be classified as a “salad.” Also, the big fried taco shell does not make it the healthiest choice. I recommend if you are looking for a tasty dish with healthy ingredients that is not too filling, but not if you are counting calories.
14. Aunt Cass Cafe – San Fransokyo Square

In August 2023, Pacific Wharf officially transformed into San Fransokyo Square, a new area featuring sights, shops, and cuisine based on Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Big Hero 6.” This reimagined area of Disney California Adventure Park is a fictional mash-up of two iconic cities – San Francisco and Tokyo.
With the transition, Pacific Wharf Cafe became Aunt Cass Cafe. It still houses the Boudin Bakery where fresh sourdough bread is baked on site. But now their menu has shifted a bit to feature American and Asian-inspired dishes.
The only salad currently offered here is the Chicken Ginger – Sesame Tofu Salad. It has marinated tofu, romaine lettuce, and ginger-sesame dressing.
15. Lamplight Lounge – Pixar Pier
Lamplight Lounge is DCA’s signature table service restaurant, serving upscale food and drinks with a waterfront view.
They have two salads on the menu. The Little Gem Salmon Salad has roasted salmon, charred shallots, dressing, pickled red onions, cherry tomatoes, sourdough croutons, and cheese. The Brussels Caesar is a plant-based option, with romaine lettuce, toasted pine nuts, garlic croutons with roasted red pepper-tomato sauce, and parmesan cheese.

Finding a great salad at Disneyland is easy to do; there are tons of great options to choose from between the two parks! And many more if you consider restaurants in Downtown Disney and at the hotels.
Where are the best salads at Disneyland? They’re everywhere! It really just depends on your personal preferences and if you want a big entrée salad or something smaller, meat or no meat, etc.
