Looking for a comprehensive guide to Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park? You’ve come to the right place!
When Avengers Campus opened in 2021, it instantly became one of the most exciting lands at the Disneyland Resort. And it continues to grow. More rides are coming to Avengers Campus at DCA and I will keep this post updated with all the details!
As a Southern California local and Disneyland expert, we’ve spent plenty of time exploring every corner of the parks – testing rides, sampling food, and figuring out the best strategies. I’m excited to share everything you need to know about Avengers Campus to make the most of your visit!
From WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure to fun encounters with your favorite Marvel characters, Avengers Campus delivers a lot of excitement. This immersive land drops you right into the middle of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Avengers Campus Disneyland
Inspired by the Marvel universe, Avengers Campus is a superhero training ground where recruits (that’s you!) are invited to join the action. The land features cutting-edge attractions, interactive experiences, character encounters, and some of the most unique food in the park. Even if you are not the biggest fan of superheroes (and honestly, I am not), there is still plenty of fun to be had inside Avengers Campus.

You’ll find Avengers Campus tucked behind Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure Park, and you can access the area either through Hollywood Land or off the main path (often called the Performance Corridor) as you travel through the park. There used to be a third entrance between Avengers Campus and Cars Land, but this path is currently closed during construction of the land’s expansion.
Once you step inside Avengers Campus, it feels like an entirely different world – complete with Avengers Headquarters, the Sanctum, and WEB (Worldwide Engineering Brigade).
At night, the land takes on a whole new energy with lighting effects and Avengers gathering on rooftops. It’s not quite the immersive neon glow of Cars Land at DCA – but it’s still a vibe worth experiencing after dark.

Avengers Campus Rides
There are currently two main attractions in Avengers Campus, with two more highly anticipated rides on the way. Here’s what you need to know.
WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure

The most family-friendly ride in Avengers Campus is WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. This interactive attraction puts you right alongside Spider-Man as you help stop runaway Spider-Bots.
Using hand gestures (no physical device required!), you’ll sling webs to capture bots throughout the ride. It’s competitive, fast-paced, and surprisingly physical. Your arms will get a workout!
Each ride vehicle seats four, and there’s no height requirement, making it perfect for younger kids.
Lines for WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure can get long, but the good news is they offer a Single Rider line, and I’ve gotten on the ride in as little as five minutes using this option. Check out our Complete Guide to Single Rider Disneyland Rides for all the details on how to save time using single rider lines.
Top Tip: Your score improves with practice, so don’t be surprised if your kids beat you the first time you ride.
- Minimum Height: None
- Attraction Type: Interactive Ride
- Lightening Lane Available: Yes
- Single Rider Available: Yes
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!

Technically located just outside Avengers Campus but fully tied into the land, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is a must-do thrill ride.
Formerly the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: BREAKOUT! is a thrilling drop ride with a high-energy Guardians of the Galaxy story line, where you’ll join Rocket Raccoon on a mission to rescue the Guardians from the Collector’s fortress. The ride features randomized drop sequences, meaning every experience is different. Even the music changes with every ride, and by the way, Guardian’s soundtrack is awesome!
This is a true thrill ride with a 40” height requirement, sudden drops, and high-energy music. If your family loves Tower of Terror-style rides, this will be a highlight.
If you are visiting the park during Halloween Time at Disneyland, the ride transforms into Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark, an exciting and spooky adventure filled with creepy creatures and thrilling drops.
- Minimum Height: 40”
- Attraction Type: Thrill Ride with Drops
- Lightening Lane Available: Yes
- Single Rider Available: No
Avengers Campus New Rides
Avengers Campus will soon be double its size, with two new major rides currently under construction and expected to open over the next one to two years.
Avengers Infinity Defense
Avengers Infinity Defense will be a new “E-ticket” ride for DCA, meaning it’s going to be a first-rate thrill ride! Suit up for a multi-world adventure experience to stop King Thanos from wreaking havoc across worlds. Travel to iconic locations like Asgard, Wakanda, and New York City and face King Thanos himself.
Stark Flight Lab
Set inside Tony Stark’s workshop, you’ll sit in 2-person pods, deploy to a test station, and get whirled around in a simulated flight by a robot arm. Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as Tony Stark for the experience, which features technology that transitions seamlessly from a track to a robot arm – a first-of-its-kind innovation for theme parks.

Where to Eat in Avengers Campus
Although there aren’t a ton of options, dining in Avengers Campus is just as immersive as the attractions, with creative, Marvel-themed options you won’t find anywhere else in the parks.
Pym Test Kitchen

Inspired by Ant-Man and The Wasp, Pym Test Kitchen plays with size – serving both comically large and tiny portions. All the menu items have fun names like:
- Neutron Nachos
- Not So Little Chicken Sandwich
- Pepper Particle Past
- Quantum Pretzel
The theming is clever and fun, especially for kids, and it’s one of the most unique quick-service spots at Disneyland Resort.
If you are looking for a great salad at Disneyland, Pym Test Kitchen has one called the Humongous Taco Salad. It has a taco shell loaded with romaine lettuce, chicken, corn, bell pepper, cotija cheese, avocado, and tossed in chipotle ranch dressing.

We ordered this salad to share and it was very flavorful, but not nearly enough lettuce in my opinion to be classified as a “salad.” Also, the big fried taco shell does not make it the healthiest choice! However, it was really good. I recommend the Humongous Taco Salad if you are looking for a tasty dish with healthy ingredients that is not too filling, but not if you are counting calories. (For more awesome salads at the parks, check out this guide to the best salads at Disneyland.)
Pym Test Kitchen is also open for breakfast, one of just a handful of Disney California Adventure Park restaurants that open in the morning for breakfast.
Pym Tasting Lab

Located adjacent to Pym Test Kitchen, Pym Tasting Lab is one of the best places to go for alcoholic drinks at Disneyland. This highly-themed outdoor lounge has a big selection of beers and cocktails. Their innovative drinks have names such as Molecular Mule, Particle Fizz, X-Periment, and Litmus Lemonade.
One quick note about Pym Tasting Lab! The lines get very long, especially on hot afternoons when everyone wants to take a break and enjoy a cold one. We found that visiting this spot earlier in the day is the best way to avoid having to wait for a drink.
Shawarma Palace
Shawarma Palace is a cart in Avengers Campus serving handheld wraps that are perfect for a quick, satisfying bite. It’s one of the best grab-and-go options in the area.
Terran Treats
Another cart in Avengers Campus, Terran Treats is located near Guardians of the Galaxy. This this small stand offers colorful, cosmic-themed snacks, including Infinity Cream Puffs and churros.
This is a great spot to grab a bite or cold drink before getting in line for Guardians.
Characters and Meet & Greets

One of the biggest highlights of Avengers Campus is the constant presence of Marvel heroes.
You might encounter:
- Iron Man testing new tech
- Captain America walking through the land
- Doctor Strange performing mystical demonstrations
- Black Panther greeting guests
These aren’t always traditional meet-and-greets – many are live-action shows or spontaneous interactions, which makes the land feel alive.
Spider-Man Stunt Show

One of the most exciting (and easy-to-miss!) highlights of Avengers Campus is the live Spider-Man stunt show happening throughout the day.
At scheduled times, you’ll see Spider-Man appear on top of the WEB building, interacting with guests and showing off his latest tech. What starts as a fun rooftop moment quickly turns into something much bigger…
Without giving too much away, Spider-Man (really a cool “stuntronic” robot) launches 65 feet in the air, performing acrobatic flips over Avengers Campus. It’s incredibly smooth and happens fast—so if you blink, you might miss it!
After the stunt, Spider-Man reappears on the ground nearby for additional interactions, which is a fun bonus for kids hoping to get a closer look.
Top Tip: Stand in the main courtyard facing the WEB building for the best view.
This quick show only lasts a few minutes, but it’s one of the most memorable moments in Avengers Campus and a perfect example of how Disney blends storytelling with cutting-edge technology.
Shopping in Avengers Campus
While shopping is definitely not the focus of this land, there are several themed shops worth checking out.
- WEB Suppliers (Spider-Man gear and WEB tech)
- Campus Supply Pod (rotating merchandise kiosks)
- Collector’s Warehouse (near Guardians ride)
From Spider-Bots to Avengers apparel, this is the place to find unique Marvel souvenirs.
