Searching for the best hotels near Disneyland with shuttles to the parks?
One of the most important decisions you’ll make when planning your Disney vacation is where to stay. How you’re going to get from your hotel to the parks is an important consideration.
And with the end of the Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) bus system – which shut down in March 2026 after providing shuttle service between Anaheim hotels and the Disneyland Resort for decades – finding reliable transportation to the parks is now more important than ever.
I’ve been visiting Disneyland for years and since things are always changing, we continue to do a ton of research to stay on top of it all. Based on this research, I’ve compiled this guide to hotels near Disneyland with shuttle service.
Here is a comprehensive and up-to-date guide to hotels with free shuttles to Disneyland – plus new paid options – to help you plan a stress-free trip.
Hotels with FREE Shuttles to Disneyland – Dedicated Hotel Shuttles
There are (unfortunately!) only a few hotels with totally free shuttles to Disneyland. Most rely on outside bus service (which is currently very much in flux, or charge for transportation. This short but well-vetted list ensures you won’t have any issues.
► Travel Insight
There are several hotels in neighboring cities – Fullerton, Buena Park, etc. – that offer free shuttles to the parks. But in my opinion based on experience, it’s not worth the extra time and traffic to stay so far away when there better options so much closer to the Disneyland Resort.
Here are the hotels with free shuttle service.
1. Days Inn and Suites Anaheim at Disneyland Park

Located about a mile away from the parks, Days Inn Anaheim falls into the budget hotel category, but as one of just a few hotels with free shuttle to Disneyland it is a great option if you are traveling on a budget!
In addition to free shuttle service, Days Inn offers free parking and free breakfast. It is a fairly basic motel with a pool in the parking lot and not too much else as far as recreation, but it is a winner if you are looking for a clean place to sleep and lots of freebies to stretch your vacation dollars.

2. The Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel

Named for the hotel’s expansive gardens, the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel features a fun castle-themed design and free shuttle to Disneyland aboard their Dream Machine shuttle bus.
This family-friendly hotel features spacious rooms and suites, even some with bunk beds. It has a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, and lots of family-friendly activities.

3. Candy Cane Inn

The Candy Cane Inn is a moderately priced hotel located less than a half mile from the parks. Although it is one of the closest hotels to the Disney parks, transportation is included with your stay. In addition to its complimentary shuttle service, Candy Cane Inn offers free breakfast and free parking, too!
One of the unique things about this hotel is it is family owned and not part of a huge chain. So if you are looking for a hotel with free shuttle to Disneyland along with friendly service and a unique vibe you won’t find anywhere else, Candy Cane Inn might be the perfect place for you!

4. Knott’s Hotel

Okay, so I know I said before that this list of hotels with free shuttles to Disneyland would only include places to stay in Anaheim, but hear me out. Knott’s Hotel is special.
Because many people who come to Disneyland on vacation also want to visit Knott’s Berry Farm in the neighboring city of Buena Park, this hotel just makes sense. Knott’s Hotel is adjacent to their theme park, plus they offer a free shuttle to Disneyland and other nearby attractions.
Knott’s Hotel recently completed a multi-million-dollar renovation with redesigned guestrooms, restaurants, and public spaces. Everything has a refined look that pays homage to the park’s founders, Walter and Cordelia Knott, which is a really nice nod to its history. All 322 guestrooms have been updated to offer a stylish, country guest house feel. There is also a large outdoor pool area complete with splash pad for kids.

Hotels with Free Shuttles to Disneyland – Shuttles via Disney’s Toy Story Parking Area
Here’s a great little secret! If you are staying at one of the hotels along Harbor Boulevard south of Disneyland, you are super close to the Toy Story Parking Area where you can hop aboard a free shuttle to Disneyland.

Not only that, but you will go through Disney’s security checkpoint before getting on the bus, which means you won’t have to wait in line with the masses once you arrive. Buses depart regularly, and it is a direct line to the parks, meaning there won’t be any other stops along the way.
And it is totally legit! I used to feel like we were breaking the rules when we used this trick, but Disney is very well aware and they do not mind. You are not required to park in the lot to use the Toy Story Parking Area free shuttle bus service.
Here are 12 great hotels located within a short walk to the Toy Story Parking Area:
- Anaheim Marriott – Upscale hotel near the convention center with an indoor/outdoor pool, restaurants, and rooms with marble bathrooms and balconies.
- Hilton Anaheim – Newly renovated, deluxe hotel (the largest hotel in Orange County) with a great pool area, beautiful rooms, and a number of bars and restaurants.
- Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort – Moderate hotel near the convention center with free parking and a pool.
- Homewood Suites by Hilton Anaheim Resort Convention Center – New all-suites hotel featuring separate living area and full kitchen, pool, game room, basketball court, putting green and complimentary breakfast buffet.
- Hyatt House at Anaheim Convention Center – New, all-suites hotel near the convention center, with pool and complimentary breakfast.
- Hyatt Place at Anaheim Resort Convention Center – Deluxe hotel with pool, complimentary breakfast, and Coffee to Cocktails Bar.
- Hampton Inn & Suites Anaheim Resort Convention Center – New hotel with an urban feel and complimentary breakfast.
- Hotel Lulu Anaheim Resort – Moderate hotel with a quirky vibe and pool, restaurant, and lounge.
- Residence Inn Marriott at Anaheim Convention Center – All-suites hotel with full kitchens, a rooftop deck and pool, lobby bar, and complimentary breakfast.
- Sheraton Park Hotel – High-rise deluxe hotel featuring newly-renovated rooms with balconies and a tropical pool area.
- Portofino Inn & Suites – Recently renovated moderate hotel with free parking, game room, and pool.
- Cortona Inn & Suites Anaheim Resort – Tuscan-style moderate hotel with pool, game room, and free parking.
Paid Shuttle Service Options
Since the shutdown of ART busses, several options for shuttle service from area hotels to Disneyland have emerged.
At the end of March, the Garden Grove Tourism Improvement District (GGTID) announced plans to launch a brand-new shuttle service connecting several local hotels with the Disneyland Resort transit hub.
For a fee, you can hop on a shuttle to the Disneyland Resort from these 10 Garden Grove area resorts:
- Sheraton Garden Grove – Anaheim South
- Hyatt Regency Orange County
- Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim South
- Delta Hotels by Marriott Anaheim Garden Grove
- Anaheim Marriott Suites
- Hilton Garden Inn Anaheim/Garden Grove
- Homewood Suites by Hilton Anaheim – Main Gate Area
- Residence Inn Anaheim Resort Area/Garden Grove
- Great Wolf Lodge Southern California
- Hampton Inn & Suites Anaheim/Garden Grove
The cost to use the Grove District Shuttle Service is $7 one-day pass for unlimited rides or a $21 three-day pass. Children under three do not require a ticket.

Another option is a new shuttle servicing four hotels near Disneyland. The cost is $6 for a one-day pass. You can catch this new shuttle at the following hotels:
- Hilton Anaheim
- Anaheim Marriott
- Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort
- Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort
I have to point out though that these four hotels are actually located within walking distance to Disneyland (a long-ish walk, but very doable) and also a shorter walk to the Toy Story Parking Area where you can catch a bus for free.

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is also still operating in Anaheim, but i don’t find this a very convenient option.

Hotels with Shuttle to Disneyland FAQs

1. Which Disneyland hotels have shuttle service?
With close to 200 hotels within the city of Anaheim, almost all of them offer access to transportation that will get you to the parks. The exceptions are the official Disney hotels – The Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place (formerly Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel), and Disney’s Grand Californian Resort Hotel & Spa – which are located right on-property, and the Good Neighbor hotels across the street from Disneyland, which make shuttle service unnecessary!

2. Are there any hotels near Disneyland with free shuttle and free breakfast?
Yes! Both Days Inn Anaheim and the Candy Cane Inn offer free breakfast, free shuttle, and free parking.
► Be sure to also check out these hotels near Disneyland with free breakfast.
3. Where is the Disneyland Shuttle Stop Location?
Disneyland shuttles drop riders off at the Disneyland Resort’s East Shuttle Area, located just outside the parks, near Harbor Boulevard. This one stop will give you access to Disneyland, Disney California Adventure Park, and the Downtown Disney District. It is also close the Disney Resort hotels.

4. Which Disneyland hotel has direct access to the park?
Unlike Walt Disney World where almost all the Disney hotels require a bus or other form of transportation to reach the theme parks, the three Disney hotels at the Disneyland Resort are located right on property – so no shuttle required!
But for the ultimate in convenience, Disney’s Grand Californian offers direct access to the park. Guests can simply enter Disney California Adventure Park through a gate right at the hotel.
5. How many hotels with free shuttle to Disneyland are there?
As outlined above, there are currently three hotels in Anaheim that offer their guests a free shuttle to Disneyland. They are the Candy Cane Inn, Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel, and Days Inn and Suites.
You can also take a free shuttle to Disneyland from Knott’s Hotel and several other hotels in Buena Park.
Final Thoughts: Hotels with Free Shuttles to Disneyland

It’s often overlooked, but transportation to the parks is an important part of the Disney experience! Parking at Disneyland – which is fine if you are staying far from Anaheim or driving from home – can be a hassle and actually takes more time than walking or catching a hotel shuttle.e drop-off area at Disneyland.
Unless you are staying at one of the nearby hotels walking distance to Disneyland (and even then it is sometimes nice to have a ride!), taking a shuttle is the quickest and most affordable way to get to and from the parks. This is especially important if you are visiting Disneyland in the summer and want to take pool breaks in the afternoon.
When planning a trip to Disneyland, convenience and cost-efficiency are key factors. One of the best ways to enhance your Disneyland experience is by staying at a hotel with a free shuttle to the parks. These hotels provide not only a comfortable place to rest but also a budget-friendly way to get where you need to go.
