SpringHill Suites Anaheim has a few great things going for it. Its location is within easy walking distance to Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. Rooms are spacious and modern, with mini kitchen areas and options that include bunk beds for families.
And of course, they offer a nice free breakfast.
My son and I have stayed at this hotel a few times and it’s always a comfortable, convenient hotel. It has an urban, sophisticated feel, which is rare for the SpringHill Suites brand but very enjoyable. The breakfast was heart and included lots of choices, including two sizes of Mickey-shaped waffles!
Good to know: The pool and fitness areas are on the smaller side, so this isn’t the best pick if those amenities are a priority.

There is a wide variety of choices both hot and cold, and plenty of seating in the dining area. The spread includes all the foods you’d expect to find, plus some unique and tasty choices including breakfast tacos, fritatas, egg whites, and veggies.
The hotel itself is really nice, too. A new hotel and part of the Westin brand, Element Anaheim Resort Convention Center is an extended stay hotel with a variety of rooms and suites, including family suites with bunk beds. Everything here is clean, modern, spacious, and very well-designed.

Suites at Hyatt House Anaheim include a full kitchen and separate sitting areas. Kids suites come with a set of bunk beds, which are always a hit with little ones! They also have a big lobby area with lots of seating and a bar.
The hotel is located right above a Walgreens, but you would never even realize it as the entrance, lobby, and hotel bar are on the first floor.

The Desert Palms Hotel is located across the street from the Anaheim Convention Center and just a ten minute walk to the Disneyland Resort.

Each room also comes with a microwave and fridge. Honestly I found the room décor and furnishings a bit dated, but everything was clean!

14. Embassy Suites Hotel Anaheim South
Best For: Families who like spacious suites and a premium free breakfast

Embassy Suites Hotel Anaheim South is a beautiful, all-suites hotel with a giant atrium shooting up to the sky. We stayed here once during the Disneyland Christmas season and the hotel was beautifully decorated! The soaring atrium of this hotel allows them to have a very tall tree.
This hotel also has ponds, greenery, and bridges with live koi fish and turtles. Kids will especially love the animated life-size lion that sleeps atop a rock in the atrium and “wakes up” each hour with a roar.
This all-suites hotel features large rooms with separate living areas. It is ideal for families who want room to spread out.
The standout here is the complimentary breakfast, which includes made-to-order items (like omelets) in addition to the standard buffet options. If you’re not at the theme parks, your family can also enjoy a reception every evening with free snacks and drinks.

Another Hilton property, Homewood Suites is a budget-friendly, moderate hotel with lots of perks.
Each family-friendly suite comes with a separate living room area and is equipped with a full kitchen.
Breakfast is served off the sweeping lobby. This hotel also offers a complimentary evening social every Wednesday.
The breakfast area at Homewood Suites transforms into a complimentary Evening Social for guests every Wednesday night. Unfortunately, we are usually at the parks during this time, so I’ve never had the chance to experience their social. But if it is anything like breakfast, you’re in for a nice spread.
