Of all the hotels walking distance to Disneyland, Fairfield by Marriott Anaheim Resort is probably the one we’ve stayed at most. It is located just a block up Harbor Boulevard, one of the hotels across the street from Disneyland, and the closest Marriott hotel to the parks.
We always find the Fairfield to be clean and comfortable. The recently renovated rooms include either a king or two queen beds, and a pull-out sofa. The newly redesigned king guest rooms now feature twin bunk beds!
If you opt for an upper floor, you’ll find Disney-themed rooms. And if you are a Marriott Bonvoy member, they will often upgrade you for free.

Like the name suggests, the Marriott Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance Hotel is just steps away from the entrance to both Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. It is located on Harbor Blvd. just a five-minute walk to Disneyland.
Every room at the Courtyard Theme Park Entrance has a set of twin bunk beds. One bedroom suites (also with bunk beds!) are also available if you need more space.
The Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance is fairly new. It was designed with families in mind and has lots of family-friendly modern conveniences. When we stayed, I found all these amenities and the exceptional customer service made it feel more like a full-service Marriott than a Courtyard brand hotel.
Aside from its ideal location, the hotel’s biggest draw for families is Surfside Waterpark, a 20,000 square foot water playground. Located on the hotel’s second level, Surfside features four water slides, a 400-gallon drench bucket, water cannons, kids’ wading pool, hot tub and outdoor swimming pool.

When we last stayed here (I have stayed at this property a number of times now!) we did not stay in a Family Suite, but we rather a Queen Suite with two queen beds and a sofa bed. While it did not have bunk beds, the layout of the suites is very similar. We really loved having a separate bedroom and living space, and the kitchen was small but absolutely adequate with all the essentials a family might need.

Honestly, I found the room décor and furnishings a bit dated, but everything was clean!
