The California sun can be intense, and with all the walking and excitement, it’s important to drink water regularly. Fortunately, Disneyland has made it easier than ever to stay hydrated, offering plenty of spots to fill up.

Even when you’re not in the parks, Downtown Disney offers water refill stations to keep you hydrated while you shop, dine, and explore.
- Near the Downtown Disney West Gate restrooms

- Pixar Pals Parking Structure

Although not official Disney water refill stations, keep in mind some of the quick-service restaurants at Downtown Disney, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and the Disneyland Hotel have self-serve soda and drink stations where you can help yourself to filtered water or cups of ice water.
Actually – you will find some of these drink stations inside the parks, too. Alien Pizza Planet, Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta, Pym Test Kitchen, Rancho del Zocalo, and the Plaza Inn on Main Street, are just some of the locations that come to mind.

More to Know About Using the Refill Stations
Water bottle refill stations at Disneyland Resort are simple to use. All you need to do is bring your own water bottle and look for the designated refill stations. Many of these stations feature a simple button to activate the water flow, while others may be built into the water fountains.
The refill stations are free of charge, making them a cost-effective and eco-friendly way to stay hydrated throughout your visit. This means you won’t have to spend money to purchase bottled water every time you need a drink! On a recent visit to Disneyland, a bottle of Dasani water was running close to $5, so bringing a refillable water bottle and taking advantage of all the fresh, free water makes a lot of sense.
While we sip all day, I make it a point to fill up our water bottles any time we are about to hop into a long line. That way we won’t run out! This is especially important if you are waiting outside in the sun.

One more thing worth noting. In addition to the hydration stations located all over the Disneyland Resort, you can also ask any cast member at any quick service location for a free cup of ice water. They are always happy to provide complimentary cups of water and you don’t even have to purchase food to get free ice water.
Final Thoughts: Can You Refill Water Bottles at Disneyland?
Unlike some theme parks that are overly strict about what you can bring inside, Disney not only allows you to bring your own food and drinks into the parks, but they make it super convenient to refill your water bottles. There are numerous water refill stations across Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney, and they will happily give you a free cup of cold water, too, if you ask.
Whether you’re spending the day in the theme parks or walking around Downtown Disney, you’ll always find a convenient spot to fill up your water bottle.
